anti-fungals Hey to everyone....hoping all are well. I wonder what anti-fungals everyone is taking. Matthew is on Itraconazole at the moment but I have a concern about him also being on Budesonide....there seems to be some interactions and side effects happening. I suspect cushings syndrome but won't know until bloodwork on Monday. What other anti-fungals are out there....apparently we shouldn't be on any of the azole ones.....?? Denise

I sent you a message. One thing with Erik - when he had Cushings syndrome, the bloodwork did not show immediately that he had this. He finally had to see an endocrinologist and was seen by NIH. He had all the symtoms - rapid weight gain from 78 to 105 lbs., hump in this upper back & around neck, fat pads behind knees so he couldn't bend, round face, sleepy, depression, etc. Because it was so obvious I couldn't understand why the blood work didn't show Cushings syndrome at first. Please let us know how Matthew is doing. Posaconazole might be better (per Dr. Denning UK) Mary Hurley
