Photo of CGD patients needed right nowJust a very short note. The CGD Association has been chosen by the Association of Media Directors (AHMD) to receive about $15,000+ AHMD Wellness Award June 18th. Lisa Healy, Media Director at RCW in N.Y. would really appreciate photo(s) of CGD patients for a pamphlet she is currently making to send to people. Please write that you give her permission, name and age of patient, current condition (even those cured of CGD) c. 1-2 sentences. She is printing up a pamphlet.100% of the money will be used for CGD research. Perhaps we can match it with fund raising. I'll post more when I can and perhaps e-mail some of you. We will be attending. Right now we're off to a 2 month trip to Europe. Not the best time to go, but Erik and Stephen are fairly healthy. Would really appreciate if some of you can send a photo. Send it as an attachment to Lisa's e-mail: Lisa.Healy@mccann.com Any questions, you can contact me at cgda@socal.rr.com Thanks a lot! Mary Hurley

Hi everyone with CGD & parents of CGD kids/adults, Thanks a lot Connie for sending a photo to Lisa Healy of Ben and anyone else that did. I now need some photos sent to me at: cgda@socal.rr.com as I will be doing a PowerPoint (never have done one before!) about CGD & the CGD Association. We leave next Tues. June 17th from California at 7 a.m. so I'd need the photos this weekend. I have some photos but they're outdated. If your child has passed away, please include these also as we want the audience to know the impact CGD has on our lives. We are hoping to raise money for CGD research. I'll let you all know how the meeting went. Thanks a lot!! Mary Hurley |

Thank you for the info, Mary. Anyone willing to contribute to the cause is special in my book! I'll send a photograph of Ben with permission now.
