The Pneumonia Shot

Has anyone received the pneumonia shot to help them from normal flare ups? During Shawns last hospital stay which was last november and december they gave it to him. Since he has such a problem with it I didn't think it would work. Has anyone received it, any luck with it? I'm really doubtful but I thought i'd at least ask!

I received vaccine two or three years ago. No pneumonias since....

My Dr insists that I have the shot each 5 yrs. I haven't had Pneumonia since I started taking them (I've had two shots) I don't know if its luck or they are helping.

Kobe has had the pneumonia

Kobe has had the pneumonia shot and has had a lung infection since and also the start of what looked like pneumonia but has never had a full blown pneumonia I think it's a great idea to have them anything to help keep us safe..
